If all I wanted to hear was unmoderated, blathering jibberjabber, I could’ve tuned in to parliament’s question period any day. But since I had just, fittingly, poured a broken shakerfull of salt into my soup, I listened to the leaders of our nation tell us what’s what on the issues of the day….
It’s hard to know where to begin.
In my opinion, Harper’s the winner because he stayed on message and remained Prime Ministerial.
These formats are usually rough on Harper. His debate performances in 2004 and 2008 were awful. He did much better in 2006 but tonight’s performance is far better…
Somehow, this photo I took got published in McGill University’s “Canadian Content” journal, volume 3. I should probably add that the photo is not sociopolitical commentary. The bikes do not represent Canada. The chains do not represent unity, and the grease does not represent Albertan oil. It’s just a picture of bicycles.
